Any advice in beginning essays for the programs?

Some schools have content like videos or articles that have adcom talk about what they are looking for in essays. That's a good place to start.

After that I'd reccomend noting down key points you want to hit and then start writing. You can worry about word count at the end. The first few can take some time but it becomes easier as you can use some school essays for other schools

like

Make an excel with all essay questions across all schools you’re applying to. Color code the similar ones into themes of answers. Draft the largest word count per theme first. Then to the chopping block you go.

You’re reading this wrong. If there are four schools asking the same essay question each with various word counts ranging from 500-2000 words you draft the 2000 word response first and then trim (chop) down the essay for each school after that.

like

I did a lot of self reflecting when starting out my drafts professionally and personally, that helped me figure out what I wanted to cover in the essays and then I matched those points to the values of the program. Try to talk to current students and ad com that will help personalize your essay more and they can give you some insight into their experience writing their essays.
Also just know that your first draft may be completely different compared to the essay you submit. I tried making one example fit and I wrote five different drafts, but I ended up scratching the entire thing at the last minute because I felt like it didn’t fit me and the program I was applying to so just know that it’s okay if the first draft doesn’t work out it’s a process.

Lucidworks - 33

Now with freshworks, last round is pending.
Let me know what would be better.

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

Btw, I have been interviewed for 6 rounds in Citrix and waiting to hear from them.

Is it possible to get into HSW? Thinking down the line of applying - went to Princeton for UG and currently working in IBD for a not too well known investment bank. 750 GMAT 3.8 UG GPA.

Worried I just won’t get a look or judged too hard if I’m not coming from a top tier banking firm (messed up my summer internship and it’s haunted me since) - how much does that matter of prestige of bank vs the industry you’re working in and what’s the best advice in being able to go to HSW?

When would be the right time for me to get an MBA given my background?

I was a teacher for 4 years and transitioned into the corporate world. I have 6 months experience in marketing and that’s what I currently do, but plan for a lateral move in the future. I’ve seen suggestions of 3-7 years experience - does my teaching experience factor in? Or should I consider the 3-7 years only of my corporate time? Or is an MBA sooner a good move because of my big career transition (and future lateral)?
