How long does it take EY GDS to hire? I've applied for some positions (bcom fresher) on June last week. For 2 positions (Core AMS- Staff & GDS.SaT_VME_BVals_Analyst) it's showing "we'd like to progress you to the next step in our recruiting process" since July 1st. I have an offer from another company, which I communicated to the recruiter which expedited the interview to final rounds. I need to respond to the other company's offer letter soon. Should I follow up with the hiring recruiter for the company I want an offer from? Or just move on if I haven't heard back by end of this week?

How hard is Haas to get into?

Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

My long term goal is to go back to consulting more of a business advisor from a strategy perspective
Here is my question
Would MBA be any good for me especially looking at strategy side?
I don’t want to spend $200K and would probably go online MBA in a mid tier school. Are those any good?

If my UG gpa was within the range, but I had a D- in a programming class, would I be asked about it specifically?

Once you've been accepted, can it be revoked if you decide to quit your job? Or to put it another way, barring acts of infamy/legality/stupidity, is there anything I could do that would endanger my acceptance once received?

I kind of want to spend some time with family and travel a bit before an mba and if I get notified in Dec, I'd like to use the time I have in between on myself. I'm fine with losing out on pay, I made some smart investments that money is not the primary issue.

Does cum laude count as an “honor or distinction” that should be separately listed? Or is having it on your transcript/resume enough?
