Yay!! The bowl now has 100+ fish.

Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

What the hell is a reduced workload as a partner? Isn’t that called retirement?
Aren’t you expected to work as a partner?
BDO has partners with a reduced workload
Would love to hear about how it works. My firm has very detailed sales and delivery goals which I would assume would be prorata based on unit reduction. But what about all the other administrative things, like branding, recruiting, coaching and retaining talent, CPE. Would want to make sure it is truly reduced and pay is still commensurate with effort. This would only be temporary during a health issue so would also want to know how it would impact long term and return to full time.
Anyone including partners can go on a flexible work arrangement that is "negotiate" with expectations. You are also responsible for helping with game plan on who/how other work will get done without significant burden on others
Highly unlikely. And even with a reduced client load and compensation, you will still be expected to be available to staff, managers and clients, which translates you working a reduced workweek of 50 hours instead of 60.
BDO’s reduced workload for partners is legit. I am not on it myself, but I know of some well respected partners who work reduced schedules (either now or in the past).
