I’ve only seen it due to pregnancy complications (like being on bedrest). The last trimester can be hard, but give yourself grace. Your teams will (hopefully) give you grace as well. Items like working from home more often, trying to limit your overtime, taking breaks when you need them, figuring out a setup like working on the couch when you can, etc should all help.
Wishing you all the best!
When I was pregnant with twins, I took 3 weeks off before, but it was during the holiday season. When I was at RSM, they only allowed up to 3 weeks using unlimited PTO. I’m sure you could take unpaid time, but I would just request accommodations, such as working from home unless you can afford it.
