Any way to boost your CRS score if you don’t meet any of the category based CRS draws? I work in finance so those draws don’t apply to me, and currently the general CEC draws they are doing are very high. My CRS score is 493. The latest general selections were in the 540-560 range… I am also in the OINP pool but similarly they have not done any general draws there. Any help would be much appreciated!

I was interviewed for a perticular customer, which went well and also received an offer. Few days before of my joining date, i came to know that the technology stack from customer got changed and customer had no requirement for which i was hired. However parent company still hired me and now they're in process of allocating me in some other clients. Sometimes i feel insecure about this situation. How to cope up with such cases?

I'm currently on implied status in Canada (applied for an extension before the expiration date on my OWP), but lost my job two months ago. I'm actively applying (and interviewing) for new opportunities. What's a good time to mention to a potential employer that I'm on implied status? Folks, very new to the EE process. Most recent draw cutoff was 75 points but there are still folks with higher scores in the pool. Does that mean candidates are picked based on time in the pool? A CRS100 could be picked over a CRS300 if the CRS100 has been in longer?

Hi folks - im a little confused and would appreciate some confirmation. My CRS score is 438 and applying through Federal Skilled Worker Express Entry. I’m positive im in the pool, but can someone confirm if this score has been cleared in any cut off in the past few months? I’m confident i dont have an ITA for Provincial or Canadian Exp class

i had my canadian pr last year but didn’t do the landing since covid hit. the deadline passed of course and the immigration office reached out to check if i’m still interested and if so i should re-do a medical. assuming my medical goes through and my pr is processed and accepted again, does anyone know if landing is still a thing? my original plan was to do a landing and move after 2 years. is this still possible or does canada basically want you to move in a year or so after pr is granted?
