i had my canadian pr last year but didn’t do the landing since covid hit. the deadline passed of course and the immigration office reached out to check if i’m still interested and if so i should re-do a medical. assuming my medical goes through and my pr is processed and accepted again, does anyone know if landing is still a thing? my original plan was to do a landing and move after 2 years. is this still possible or does canada basically want you to move in a year or so after pr is granted?

So as we were the first to get hit with COVID in NY, we are seeing declines in numbers now. Travelers are cut short of their contract, our hours are getting cut, and staffs are laid off. Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore.
