Been at their recruiting events for a product manager role. They don’t lie when they say dress causal. It’s not only behavioral. They have tons of questions about how you would solve a problem. There’s also multiple interviewers and one is generally there to throw curveballs
Went through it during MBA. Took consulting since it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. Know the principles front to back and cite them in each example. Have multiple examples. The bar raiser will push you
Very, very good HR team. I was in talks for what was called their corp strat team (I think it’s called something else now). Back then they gave cases for all non-consulting/IB applicants so youre definitely good. Behavioral was a bit wacky with a serious question followed by "What’s your spirit animal?” Overall great experience and everyone was extremely welcoming. I dropped bc Seattle sucks
Be ready to answer in an excruciating amount of detail why you made every decision.
If its a tech interview or with their professional services be ready to answer questions that hands to the keyboard engineers would do.
Read up on the STAR method of interviewing. Get your stories ready.

P1/C1 - came from tech, looking to go back. It was interesting seeing behind the curtain at McKinsey, but I miss the end product. Looking at a product role.

Prepare one example for each amazon principle. That’s pretty much it. Glassdoor has a ton of questions for each principle
What role / type of function and office are you interviewing for?
2nd knowing their principles and having examples highlighting them.
Why leave McKinsey? I’m interviewing with the firm so I’m curious
I had to write an essay as part of the process. They gave me 3-4 potential topics and I had to pick two. They love their “white papers”

Whatever you do...just prep for leadership principles. Apparently responses to Leadership Principles trump everything.
Do read their core principles. There will be cases to show you embibe them
