There is no official cap on daily meal per dorm for us. Just be responsible.
Per diem is set by the Feds. Google it. It'll tell you per city what it is.
False. ACN gets ~$52-58 in NYC
We don't have per diem. Just 'within reason.'
Accenture uses the per diems set by the IRS and I have ran many projects and everyone from analyst through have to use them. MD's do what they want (often expense actuals). I am in MC and have ran strategy projects as well. I am not sure where KPMG heard that ... The written policy says if you get your lunch or dinner paid through a geoup/team dinner to adjust down by X dollars for lunch and X for dinner but most of my engagements haven't enforced that.
Not for Accenture. They get like 40 bucks a day in NYC.
52 in chucago
Or Chicago if spell check works
I've never heard of groups being given anything besides the federal per diem. I've heard of groups being limited to only lunch and dinner or only dinner per diem as they are expected to eat at the lounge in the am and lunch is provided. Maybe that's why Accenture gets $40.
Different for each firm. Only sometimes regulated if you are part of fed or state practices.
And different within each firm, depending on level.
@bcg so what are your per diem rates?
You guys get reimbursed you are saying? Per diem is when you basically get an allowance of 75 and if you don't spend it all you keep it. Some projects there isn't per diem then you get reimbursed for meals which also is "within reason" 20 breakfast 25 lunch 40 dinner roughly depending on the project and project manager
Good clarification, I am saying that we get reimbursed, not get a per diem.
Grrr. Hate that you can't edit - analyst through SM.
