Hi fishes,
Anyone joined coforge recently? Any reviews for the same? Is it worth to join this organisation? They told me they are hiring for Santander bank account but still be having client interview before onboarding to project. Any idea on this account? Is it tough to crack client interview over there? Don't want to face long bench hours like it used to be in Publicis sapient which led to brutal lay off. Kinda sceptical to join as it is giving me Publicis sapient vibes.Coforge Coforge ltd

Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.

OP may and June don't count next year. Those months essentially don't exist in EY utilization, so if there were ever a time to be on the bench it would be now
Correct. Roundtables looked at a snapshot in time, not sure if that was end of April or March? Hopefully someone can confirm. But May and June definitely didn't count towards that. There's rumblings that the process is going to be changed but that won't happen until next year at the soonest
Some folks try to front load utilization before round tables, or go low in June and put hours in the next FY. Be careful, as mgt is looking for this trick
So does it just mean during round tables they don't look at those two months?
Thanks for the clear up. I feel that it's pretty iffy when the snapshot ends. My question is then for next year, when they take utilization into account, the time you're on the bench during May or June will still impact you correct?
May counts I was presenting a case and due to poor utilization that I said was improving as we speak they went ahead and pulled a utilization report right there to analyze
Ey2 what do you mean presenting a case?
Presenting my counselee at roundtable
@EY4 how do you get around that? I was considering doing exactly that. Is there an hour limit where folks will check your GTE? I guess plan B would be to email your counselor with an 'adjusted util' excel accounting for may/June next year?
OP, again May and June dont count. So your utilization or lack of util still wont be brought up in the next year round table. They just look at July to next year April.
EY2, That is not been my experience....
EY2, but I doubt how much the round table will consider your advice to consider May Utilization. Its like you are boosting your candidate's year end utilization by tellin round table to consider May utilization which is unfair to people whose May utilization is not being counted .I think round table people ask for May util only if the util is really low and if it needs to be escalated.
Everyone saying may and June won't be held against you or not count obviously have no p&l responsibility, we are going after every last cent right now to make our numbers, don't slack off you will get called out
To answer the original question simply, YE reviews occur early May and look at the previous fiscal year starting 7/1. So anything between your particular round table and 7/1 by default is not considered, at least in the initial review. It may be revisited if necessary, and as someone mentioned, may possibly be changed in format next year (10 degree of feedback program / constant feedback as opposed to MY and YE cycles)
Posted same thing in earlier thread - utilization was pulled as of your roundtable date. And they know if you're trending down or not. If you're on the bubble without pre-planned vacation it could be a deciding factor.
