Texas Big Law friends, might I suggest donating some of that big law cash to causes that are pro-gun control and anti-mass murder of children? I hope you’ll join me.

Happy to donate to causes that are anti-mass murder of children.

Same. I normally donate mostly to animal charities, but I'm about to get political on our abortion restrictions and lax gun laws.

I recently had a home invasion in Houston and had to discharge my firearm at the burglars. It saved both mine and my pregnant wife's lives. The police took over nearly 20 minutes to respond notwithstanding the fact they heard the gunfire on the 911 call. And if you actually look at the most recent Ulvade shooting, it was someone's personal firearm that brought the shooter down, not law enforcement. There is not a single gun law that can be passed that will bring those children back, but if you've dealt with law enforcement recently in the face of a life threatening emergency, then you know you're on your own.

I am not at all for banning all guns! I am glad yours saved you and your wife, that must have been a horrifying experience. You sound like a very responsible gun owner, so I feel like reasonable restrictions would not change the way you own your guns? Maybe I’m missing something, but I want to restrict guns from getting into the hands of people who are not as responsible as you.

Thanks, all! Let me know where you donated - I started with Beto.

How do you care less? I know this sounds like a strange question but I feel like I try too hard and I end up getting burned out or feel resentment. It also isn’t getting me anywhere lol. No one is asking me to go above and beyond and now I feel like I should just collect the check and do the minimum at this point. However, I struggle with doing that because I may just be one of those over achievers.

Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. I am thinking I want to start closer to 8-10 months postpartum but have no idea what to expect with a third. Is anyone in a similar situation? Moms or Dads of two, do you ever look back and wish you had tried for three? Moms or Dads of three, how was the transition from two to three and how much did life change?
