;; Coming in San Diego. Happy Monday!

Finally got the call! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 First day on the job.

Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

Loeb is a great firm to work for with a genuinely collegial culture. People are approachable and supportive, and the firm maintains a steady flow of work from a balanced mix of top-tier and mid-tier clients, which helps keep projects interesting and the practice strong.
Like most law firms, bonuses are tied to meeting the typical billable hour requirements. The schedule isn’t a strict 9–6, but the hybrid structure (in-office Tuesday–Thursday) allows flexibility to continue working from home when needed. Depending on your practice group, there may be occasional weekends or periods where you’re working to meet deadlines, and sometimes work can follow you on vacation—but that’s fairly typical in the industry and not always the case.
It’s also a solid environment for working parents, with teams that are generally supportive when people need to balance work and family responsibilities. From our family’s perspective, it’s been a positive place to build a long-term career while still maintaining a good quality of life. (feedback from a spouse of an attorney there for 10+ years)
They were (at least from a few years ago) a little below market but pretty well regarded for media/advertising. Good rep in LA as that’s there HQ

What group?
I suggest that anyone who has intel offer to discuss things via DM (direct message). It appears that firms have been able to remove past posts on Fishbowl.
Numerous Fishbowl users have reported that posts they made about firms have been removed. Glassdoor appears to be the better place to make public posts about law firms.
