Each one is a franchise so your experience will vary. Looked at one outside DC and liked the facility but staff vibe was iffy and location not the best in a busy office park.
We are at Goddard for our 2 kids (5/3) in suburban Boston. Happy overall, happy to chat.
Atlanta perspective:
My 2YO son has been in a Goddard School for about a year now. He has grown a lot since starting the school. They do a lot of different activities each day and you will get a daily report summarizing everything they do with the kids. However, they do not provide diapers, wipes or lunch and the tuition is more than all the other daycares in the area. I agree that the experience varies from location to location. If you want I can send you some of the learning materials they do with the kids and answer any questions you may have.
Thanks! This location provides breakfast and lunch. I’ve never heard of a daycare providing diapers and wipes before - that’s interesting. Yes, it definitely seems a little bit pricier than some of the other options, so I’m trying to weigh the pros/cons.
My kids both went to Goddard in Chicago. Which one in the suburbs are you considering?
I would highly recommend the program even though they are franchises there is a lot of oversight from corporate. Also, the owner can only own one and must be onsite.
You can pm me of you want.
At the corner of Waukegan and lake cook? The owners are supposed to be very nice. We have friends that own a different one
