I interviewed for the position of Associate Human Capital Advisory role at KPMG. I cleared my first round but for the second round tgey gave me 2 case studies and one excel assessment to be completed in 2.5 hours. I think I messed up the case studies and just wrote the approach and recommendations but didn't include any other preferable portions. Is there a minimum cutoff for these assessments?

Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?

I dont know about the HR role, but the analyst slog 12 hours minimum daily and because of which it has high attrition rate as well. So as a HR you would be recruiting and completing exit formalities every month.
I've also heard average hike they give is 25-30% is that true??....if it is why do they have such high attrition rate
They do pay well, the attrition is mostly because of no work life balance, end of the day it starts affecting the wellbeing
Yeah, thats true
This review is going to be long. The reason behind me explaining so much in this review is not out of rage or revenge of any kind. It's only to share some insights of working at TresVista so that you can take an informed decision whether or not you should join this company; and to not make a mistake like i did. So here it goes:
I still wonder about that day when TresVista had sent me the offer letter. I was so happy with the package they were offering. Simply because of this, without doing any research on the company work culture, i simply accepted the offer and joined the company on the mentioned date. I still wish to go back in time and stop myself from doing it! I wish i could imbibe some knowldge/wisdom into me and help me understand that couple of lakhs of salary is far far far better than sacrificing your respect, life, sleep, your dignity, your health and whatever life you have outside of your work.
Also, one important thing everyone needs to note is that the offer letter which you receive does not guarantee your employment at TresVista. Rather, just one week before joining, the company will send you study material and inform you that you will have to undergo a technical/financial exam as soon as you join TresVista. If you fail to surpass the cut off, you will be asked to leave the company. So don't be happy and relieved immediately because offer letter is not the ultimate guarantee of employment, but rather passing the exam is your ultimate guarantee of employment at TresVista. (This exam is apart different than the general HR and compliance tests)
Official work time is 9am to 6pm. Actual work time is 9am to 9pm. The average work time is 13 to 14 hours daily. And the company is very strict about punctuality. You won't be allowed to enter beyond 9am more than few times. And on the other hand, if you even try to wrap up your work and leave at 6pm, people will look at you as if you are committing any kind of crime.
None of the employees are happy at TresVista. Many of them leave the company during probation itself. Some employees who have any type of condition or financial problems, only they stay here for more than a year.
Apparently, you cannot even get in touch with the current employees via LinkedIn to understand how their experience is at TresVista. Because TresVista does not allow their employees to update their LinkedIn profile to show that they are working at TresVista. (if you want proof of this, go to LinkedIn and search for TresVista employees. you will hardly see 70-80 results. whereas the company has 1200+ employees according to their website). I had asked to one of the Senior Vice President about this LinkedIn rule, and he replied that it's done to protect their clients' interest. I found this response so illogical that i understood there was no point discussing and wasting my time about it with him. But now that i connect the dots, it's pretty clear that TresVista has this rule so that no one can connect with the existing
This all sounds horrible, you are talking about Mumbai branch or all branches are same?
