Anyone here in consulting? How did you identify your consulting niche and attract your first clients? I've been finding it extremely hard to find my first few clients. Most of the clients I was able to find dropped off way sooner than I imagined, and I can't tell if that's the nature of the consulting world or if my service is not good enough.

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience.
