@Long-time creative freelancers, please enlighten the masses about why you might make a better staff hire than say, someone with nearly all staff role experience. Help clear up this weird prejudice.

Don't own a personal laptop; always use my work laptop for everything. I see people recommending Dell XPS or Lenovo Thinkpad but do you really need that for school? My plan was to just get a run of the mill laptop to use for excel and ppt...what else do i need it for?

Existing employees with 20 years exp working on presales consulting, winning millions of dollars of projects in RFPs, delivering multi million dollar assignments are still not getting promoted and paid in peanuts

Makes me wonder if companies are really enjoying so called great resignation period. What's the thought ?

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

I have interviewed for Decisioning scientist role at NatWest. It has been 2 weeks but I have not heard anything from them, HR said that she has not received feedback yet. How long does the process generally takes. Also how much I should expect, I am currently earning 22 LPA fixed

I am an MBA(HR) passout of 2021 and i have 1 year of experience in TCS as HRBP/Recruiter and recently i have joined EY GDS as consultant in June 2022. Currently EY is facing a lack in projects and i am not assigned to any.

It's a request to all if you can refer me to HR openings in areas of HRBP or recruitment, My notice period is 30 days and i am ready to join at the same package as of now.

I feel like I'm doing everything right, but my research is not getting the attention it deserves.

I've submitted papers to all the right journals, gone to all the right conferences, and published on all the right topics. Yet no one seems to care—no one's citing my work!
