I am planning to start IUI cycle this summer and have booked Pfizer vaccine mid April. Two questions (note I recently recovered from Covid so have antibodies)

1) Have unverified maybe misconception that vaccines affect fertility. Any opinions on this? My developing country family is freaking out and suggesting I vaccinate after I get pregnant.

2) My donor is fully vaccinated and did Pfizer, another rumor that it’s better that parents have same vaccine? Is this true?

Has anyone here had a difficult recovery post-egg retrieval? It’s been 3 days and I’m still in a lot of pain. The medical team said I should expect to be uncomfortable for 5-7 days or more due to the high number of eggs retrieved (=very swollen ovaries) and it will take 2 weeks to get back to normal.

Anyone here who has had an ectopic and a tube removal? Could you share your experiences about getting pregnant after the removal? 35F.

Their default diagnosis is cancer, and she does have a past history of colon cancer. Please keep her and my family in your prayers. Nothing has been finite, but I can’t help but prepare for the worst & hope for the best. The only thing getting me through this is my faith in God. Been living in a luxury building for about a year and start noticing that I have a mild cough when I’m in the building. Thought it’s just something residual after my cold but then I went for a week out of town and it disappeared completely only to start again when I got back and stepped into my building.
