How would you deal with this situation? I had someone I used to work with reach out to seek a referral at EY and help her prepare for the potential interview. I don’t like her, and I don’t think she’ll be a great fit (she was really hard to work with; she would never take accountability/ownership, give away most of her work to me). How does CISSP verify your security related work experience? Does having experience in pen testing remediation, security testing(sql injection, authentication bypass etc) counts towards the security experience even if your job role is not security related?

Had multiple rounds including case study, final round, and gave references for a lateral UMM associate role. No other candidates made it to the reference stage but the firm ended up not extending an offer. References went well (they told me) and it’s more of a timing thing and waiting for a 2022 start.
