I am on notice period and m joining TCS by nex tmonth end.now I received the CTC revision of 9.8 which was 8.9 by before ....in TCS offer is 15lpa..is it can I ask the HR more like one lakh plus as they revised me in Cognizant? Or shal I just move on ?pls guide me will TCS revise ?

Switch.. simple. The associate who spent 10-15+ years in TCS, i saw them arrogant, egoistic, rigid and with no skill. They are not willing to push themselves.. respectful to the guys who switched to TCS, they have worked hard so got the opportunity, u do the same some company will pay you.
I am an associate in TCS with 13 YOE but I won't consider myself arrogant, egoistic, or no skills.. :) I have 4 offers and quiet good role .. I also had a good role and quiet a vast amount of onsite experience, but still I won't consider myself egoistic. So please do not generalise..

Hard to believe SCon with 12 yrs experience.
These days ctc has no bar for external hires. Why would they provide C5 when they can give them same CTC with lower band eg C3B
You have a point, but this is true. Know a candidatewho has joined. Even people joining are negotiating and getting 10% variable instead of usual 20%. HR have pressure in back filling
staying for long time for a company without any progress send out a signal to HR that you are needy (not loyalist). e should move if we feel we are not valued or paid as per industry standards.
