Anyone here tried a thing called “Base” (link below) to find a good crowd to mix with? I am looking to rebuild my social circle after separating from my spouse after a couple of decades of being married, during which time, except for a handful of family friendships, I let my individual friendships and relationships go down the tube. Disclaimer: this is no plug for this site - I know nothing about it other than being ad-bombarded on social media.

I know quite a few people who are members. Mixed reviews but def great for creating a social circle. What city are you in? If you are a F, Chief is another great option in some cities.
Agree that Chief experience is spotty. Miami has a very active community, so is NYC. Not sure about the rest
I would love to know your experience if you try it as I am getting the same ads; it is definitely harder to find successful, fun people to hang out with at our age, that aren't actively centering their family unit.
Thank you P1. I am male, so not for Chief. That said, I have clients who are part of Chief, and some of them found professional mentorship and executive level career opportunities through it.
With this “Base”, I was really hoping to find some friendships and growth through individuals I typically don’t hang out with much (my circle, such as it is, is mostly corporate-types or private investors).
Base should be good for that. Also try biking or running club. I heard from my male friends that it was a great way to build a new circle.
