I'm interested interviewing for a position that was advertised as DOE. I understand this means depending on experience, but is there a range I should ask for? If they ask my desired salary, do I tell them? I haven't interviewed for a position like this before.

Answering the "conflict in your team" behavioral question: I feel naive because honestly with my teams, interpersonal dynamics have been smooth because people are generally mature and good natured. Can y'all share some examples that would satisfy this question? I might be thinking too narrowly of "conflict"

Is it okay to join a new team and say "I expect your Support to myself" when you know you're not joining as a lead to the team.??

Started a new job a year ago, high performer. My manager suggested a promotion to Product Manager since that‘s the work I’m doing, but that would be a 50% raise. Higher ups decided instead to make a “new role” (not PM), that has no analog in the company and is hard to price via Glassdoor, etc. I feel like this is to limit my promotion salary to something like 10% from where it currently is. Is there anything I can do? FWIW: I have a PhD from top 5 program and am working in that field. Thanks!

Company wants me to take a base cut because they want me to move into more of a BD role where target bonus is 50% vs current 20%. Going to push back pretty hard
