Was told I’d hear back today about next round. Have gotten stellar feedback the past 3 rounds (seemed implied I would move on). I interviewed Monday and it’s already EoD where HR is 😔 gonna go work out so I can take my mind off the anxiety and not keep refreshing my email. Good thing I filed for unemployment today.

I would love to know what you guys think. I was in-house Senior Designer for 5 years. It was a pretty disorganized, toxic and limiting environment. I climbed up as from junior positions but definitely hit a ceiling. I quit shortly before COVID (before it was a Thing) and more or less became full time Freelance. It was never my intention but its worked out for me. Now the new year is coming up and I’m looking to move towards the FT agency path.

I see a lot of posts about raises and bonuses for the end of year and comments whether or not “your” salary compares to someone else (in a higher or lower position). QUESTION: how do you know what your peers are even earning (aside from big law, maybe)? And, assuming they tell the truth. How can you compare?
