Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. I don’t do big lavish gifts but each year I feel pressure to or he won’t be happy. When I say this he immediately launches into “haven’t I done this for you, bought that for you”. “If you loved me you would”. His entitlement and manipulation make me feel super resentful and removes the fun of celebrating him. FWIW we earn the same. What to do?

They put a status call at 10 in the morning and expect to work throughout the day till 9PM with all the calls at night

my DOJ & Notice period is conflicting by 5 days. None of the party agreeing to adjust.

New Employer (Oracle) mentioned that his budget will expire by May 31 so cloudn't shift the DOJ.

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. Its been a month since my first paycheck and HR and the Payroll team are incredibly unresponsive to my inquiry on where this bonus is. What’s the next course of action? Legal? Do you work the holidays into your lesson plans this time of year? Or is it too much of a distraction from your routine?
