Anyone opened both Barclays AA and Hawaiian cards on the same day? Looks like 70k each and the cards will be discontinued soon. Reports are that Barclays combines hard pulls this way. Only issue is that this would put me at 6/24 which delays Inks for a while, but might be worth getting the bonuses before they're gone? It would give me enough AA miles for 2 J on JAL (finding the seats is another problem). I don't have any AS miles but I know they can be valuable too.

Researching the job mkt & pay for nursing: It is so easy to set up a first interview esp. as a nurse. Set up a zoom meeting, in the zoom meeting ask abt job details and ask for the salary range. They will give it to you, and in my case it was the same range for both of the companies. (Hospice oncall nurse here👋). Then you fit in somewhere on that continuum based on education & experience—that where the negotiation comes in—they will make a case to place you as low as possible on the scale.
