Thoughts on GILD for a medium term hold?
Had a bad showing for case interview about a month ago. I knew the material i just straight up had a bad day. Took feedback in exit interview and feel prepared to reapply for a different role with no cool off time… should I still wait or shoot my shot?
Asking as I am curious if my app will be flagged as I just applied to another role recently.EY-Parthenon

Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

when all employees are getting laid off what these contractors will do... atleast they can go in their own companies and join other clients.. seriously all employees are living in mess..of layoffs
Imho contractors make less sense if org is looking for a short time period of let's say 3-4 years. Contractors get paid almost 3 times (. Per month cost billed to VZ and not actually in hand salary ) than a newer employee of same role and band. Because for that short time period even if we consider layoff cost for fte then also it comes out as lesser than contractors. But this might be role dependent and might not be true for all roles.
Contractors might or might be impacted. The decision is still hanging by a thread. Publicis is going all out to ensure they retain Verizon as a client. Contractors are an integral part of VZ ecosystem, but if it comes to FTEs vs contractors, it’s a no brainer.
If that’s the case, why doesn’t VZ hire more FTEs instead of relying on contractors considering VZ has to pay more to the contractor’s parent company for each head when compared to an FTE?
