Ball, park, play, outside, downstairs. She’s so smart she’s picked up on most of the synonyms and codes we’ve come up with for those things as well
Dogs watch our every move, change of routine etc. Mine know when it’s Sunday, granny visit day, based on our morning routine. They sit at the entrance waiting all morning for granny to arrive. It’s spooky. And let’s not get into that little phrase, which we have to spell out to avoid trouble: D-O-G P-A-R-K. They go nuts. 😂
My old dog, the cheese wrapper. In his advanced age he was going deaf and never heard me call, the door ring, nothing. Open that cheese wrapper though and he would come running from three rooms away.
My current dog it's being at my parents who watch him while I'm at work and me being hanging out with them and then I sigh and say, "Alright." He knows it will be followed with "we're going to go", and he runs to the door before I get the second half out.
