I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? I’d imagine a bunch of behavioral questions (what would you do in this situation, describe a time you overcame a conflict, etc) answer questions in STAR format
Thank you for the advice! They provided some prompts along those lines with my confirmation email, so I’ll focus on the ones they provided.
You need to be rational in answering questions during a situational interview. It's more on behavioral or sitautional questions. STAR format is the way to go. Good luck!
Thanks Analyst 1. They know I have however much work experience I have, but I assume they’ll still pose questions that push the boundaries of my experience?
I was asked what excel functions I would use in a certain scenario in my “Situational” interview… was also asked what I would do in a couple of office scenarios. Was asked 1 case question. This was in advisory. I have to say I think the questions I was asked in my situational interview were uncommon/made up by the interviewer himself…
