So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? I know this is possible but curious if Sizmek or Flashtalking are more common in this type of creative development.

If we're not there already, we're pretty darn close. There are so many deepfake horror stories out there that this seems like a necessary move. Unfortunately I don't see the US being anywhere near as proactive about this as our European counterparts. We're always lagging so far behind when it comes to protection and privacy.

There are a lot of cases of fake celebrities featured in promotional posts, so we’re here. You’re right that there aren’t protections in place. Maybe this could be a start.
That is really interesting. We need some kind of regulation, but the how is the biggest question. Making it a copyright issue could be a great way to go about it. But I have no idea how that can be enforced. Would they be able to sue somebody? What if they can’t find whoever put it up on the internet?

It would be as difficult as trying to arrest some overseas hackers that stole money or took over your social media. This adds to the need for protection and laws on a global scale.
This is a brilliant idea. Though I would also add data to that. I am concerned at how rapidly we're going in a dangerous direction and with almost no protections.

Allowing AI to become this free-for-all means these problems could become too big for any protections to be immediately affective. I could see this registration like getting your passport or driver’s license.

Wow! This is like we are living in a Black Mirror episode. Could this be how we get to a universal income? We monetize our personal data? Could this also be the Dow fall of social media apps? When they are all just GenAI generated content will usage go down or up? I’ve pretty much stopped posted personally several years ago, not I barely go on since I don’t actually get to see any of my friends content. I’m at a point where I can life without social media.
