There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it depends on a variety of factors including your skillset, experience, and the demand for customer service professionals in your area. However, if you feel that you are undervalued in your current role, it may be worth considering a career change to a field where customer service is a more highly valued skill.
If you are willing to put in the extra effort to develop your skillset, you may be able to find a job in customer service that pays better than minimum wage, what skills do you currently have?
I don't think that changing companies will help you with what you are looking for. Since all companies while you are starting out will offer you the same salary range, if you don't get a promotion with a better salary then the best thing to do would be to look for other jobs.
I recommend that you take courses or preparations so that you can apply for positions with higher salary range. What other work experience do you have?
As you continue on your job search In your industry also invest in yourself like, new skills set that would got along the industry.
