Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

If your objections to the company are rooted in a structure that can't be changed it doesn't seem like there are many options. You can either ignore your objections or move on to another organization. If you're working with lackluster characters and it impacts your work, you might be able to coach them and get them to improve. If their bad performance doesn't impact you, just do a good job and let them sink or swim.
Unions are a blessing and a curse. Huge help when you need power behind to make better choices, but things like strict promotions are the drawback. Do you feel like you’d lose out on some good aspects of being in a non-union job? Or would it even out?
