I might be very lucky that I didn’t join Google before the summer as I’m not stressed about potential layoffs… but on the other hand i do feel unlucky to finally fulfill my dream and make it through the recruitment process, only to get stuck in the team-matching stage. And then the freeze.. how long can people stay on the list until they get hired? Or does your place on the list ever expire?Google

Depends if they want repeat business
This is already happening with a ton of companies. Circular design, LCAs, traceability, etc.
I think companies are starting to shift and looking for some ways to reduce their carbon footprints. It's an initiative they came uo with. Good for them.
I hope so. It is almost 2023.I think we should all rethink our choices and be mindful of our carbon footprints.
I am hoping so. Anyway, there are new brands which promote themselves in ethically sourcing their ingredients. It is never too late.
I don't think so. They were able to establish their brand and grow big. I don't think they're gonna be bothered as much by this.
Not entirely, but they've got to start somewhere. Levi Strauss has introduced a new Waste<Less Collection, a collection of jeans mostly constructed from recycled plastic bottles, in an effort to lessen this impact. Additionally, this action follows the company's collaboration with the forward-thinking textiles firm Evrnu.
I've seen some that have decided to go along with the big "trend" that they made out of being more ecologically concerned. Siemens, the world’s largest industrial manufacturer has pledged to be completely carbon neutral by the year 2030. Investing over €100 million into reducing their environmental impact, Siemens aims to cut its carbon emissions in half.
I've read of some taking the sustainability route. Ricola, which is almost 100 years old, has demonstrated that even the most well-established businesses may wake up to their environmental implications in novel ways. The Swiss manufacturer of cough drops and mints has set up an innovation center called Ricolab that leverages the SDGs as a framework for its environmental advancement.
So many businesses nowadays choose to keep things the same in terms of operations and product design. In boardrooms, the mantra "If it ain't broke, don't repair it" frequently prevails, with the quest of profit frequently taking precedence over the goal of sustainability.
By focusing on sustainability, corporate brands may considerably raise their values, and many of the world's best businesses are already doing so.
