While it may vary from function to function but we will atleast got to know a ballpark figure. Also if you could add your designations, will be great.
Hi, folks I am working as market research analyst at a startup company for last 9 months. Currently I am feeling work is kinda boring and also there is no scope for growth and learn new things in the company. Is it's better work at the same company to gain some experience or leave company and join MBA course so that I will get better placement in big companies where I can learn new things.

I feel this way hard. I make 56k in Chicago and I live with a roommate, so I’m not drowning but I’m also not out here stacking wealth. I’m job hunting, but I’m not in panic mode because day to day feels manageable. For me the switch was realizing “comfortable” is not the same thing as “set.”
I had to hit six figures before I felt like I could relax about money. I grew up lower middle class so I will always have some lingering anxieties around money but me and my partner both make 6 figures and we don't have children yet so things feel pretty comfortable right now.
This was also when I felt that way. And tbh every step up since then has been mo money mo problems. The happiest I have ever been personally I was making about $100k
This reminds me of an old story about Paul Westerberg, who was asked if having The Replacements sign with a major label had changed his life. He said, "Now I can buy name brand macaroni and cheese." That's how I felt when I was making enough not to have constant anxiety about being broke. I'm still pretty thrifty, but knowing I could spend the money if I wanted is a nice feeling.
When I hit 80k a year. That was my breakthrough moment. I’ve made some financial mistakes since then, but that should have been the breakthrough that set me on the path toward financial security.
Where do you all live? Curious how much your budget is every month?

I thought I was getting there until a medical setback. I’m not in saving mode but I’m blessed I can pay bills.
