I don’t know what’s going so wrong.

I have applied to 42 jobs and received 20 rejections, with 0 opportunities to even interview.

My resume is from WSO template, and I used suggested wording from various popular resume websites.

I don’t understand why I’ve gotten such a large amount of rejections. Am I applying to position in under or over qualified for? Does my resume suck? Is it just a bad time to apply? How do I improve from here?

I received client appreciations in all 3 projects and in addition I also helped my account in creating proposals, etc. What should I expect in terms of rating and monitory appraisal. I applied to a lead project specialist role with Deloitte about a month ago and my app is still pending and waiting review. I’d asked an acquaintance for a referral prior to applying also. I tried to see if LinkedIn listed the recruiter for the role but don’t see any reference. Any recommendations for touching base? Did I get lost in the shuffle? I am a certified project manager with more than a decade of experience.
