Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking a little help from a media professional. Need an SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name and relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIN. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

You should’ve sued that first agency.
Even better in terms of lawsuit
Omg that is a NIGHTMARE. Woah.
Say for legal reasons if you have a restraining order. ¯\..(•͡.̮ •͡ )../¯
Oh my goodness. Then for sure! Must let them know on both accounts. At least HR
Absolutely tell them! It will be telling how they support you.
Are you just helping out this team on a short-term basis, or will it be your team going forward?
Right now just short term. Too early to say if I end up on this team long term. Depends what happens with my main brand. Freelancers do tend to stay on for a while and bounce around teams as needed.
Will you have to interact with them at a significant level? If so, I’d keep it high level and say that you are always of the mindset that people can change, and you will give it a go, but you do want to flag that this person was let go at a previous role due to negative team interaction. You may want to wait till you are interacting and a smaller incident occurs and then notate it is small but it is a creeping in. You do not have to identify that you were let go as that is not something any previous employer is allowed to legally disclose. If pressed, you could simply say you left to a role that was both capitalizing on existing skills and has opportunities to advance them further.
Most likely I will have to interact. Unsure what level as I have not been getting assigned work on this team over the past 3 days. I’m meant to be 100% for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Following their initial discrimination and the effects of it - it put me in the hospital for a weekend. It would be a legal conflict of interest for this new company say if anything happened.

You should tell them you won't work with him at all and they shouldn't either.
