Not a huge fan tbh. Too serious for me. The color is nice, but I'd go with a different style.
This is pretty! Assuming it’s a high quality bag I’d probably be willing to spend $400-500 on it. Part of how much I’d be willing to spend would be based on how much I see it for on sites like Poshmark because that’s where my bags eventually end up when I cycle through them.
MD1 honestly I’m usually purchasing on Poshmark too. They have some really well priced designer bags. I bought a new coach bag and wallet this last week for under $300 total.
That’s a beautiful bag. I’d happily pay up to $500 for it. If it’s more I’d consider it if it were a luxury brand that would hold some value.
How much is it? I wouldn't pay more than $300 for that.
Looks more like a briefcase. I'd spend maybe 40 on a good quality brief case. Real leather maybe 70. Does it have apace for what you need
Hard sided is a hard no for me unless I plan to use it for travel and want my laptop to have extra protection. I assess value based on cost per use - if you'll use it every day, for 300 days, and it costs $300, it's $1/use. If you only use it twice, it's $150/use. As another person mentioned, factor in resale value if that's what you do, and that will lower the cost per use.
I prefer to buy bags that are versatile in color, and don't consider forest green a neutral. If that's important to you, it would be hard to justify any cost (even if it is beautiful ).
My dad always said, things are only worth what you're willing to pay - so it doesn't really matter what value we assign to this bag, only you can decide if it's worth it. This isn't the type of bag I think of for a creative director - my dad, who worked in finance, always had a briefcase like this - so again, if how this bag represents your brand is important, I'd purchase accordingly.
Cost is driven by a lot of things: materials, structure, brand, etc. If it's Gucci, it's going to cost way more than Walmart, and having only a single picture to base it on, I won't hazard a guess. Lastly, never wait to treat yourself if you can afford to do so - I wish I'd been spoiling myself instead of depriving myself all these years. You can't take it with you 🤷🏼♀️
I like the color but not the bag so I wouldn’t spend money on it. However, If you like it, think about how many uses you will get out of it and if it justifies the cost.
It is stunning
