This is very true. Most of my burnout comes from my managers putting too much work on me, and them not hiring enough people to do the amount of work that needs to be done on a daily basis.

I agree. When teams are understaffed, the extra work always falls on the same people. Proper staffing and realistic expectations would make a huge difference.
Rising Star
This is a statement and it needs to be seen by anybody that works in retail. Sometimes, I feel lazy when I work in retail but after reading this statement I believe it’s because my company is under staffed. That’s a major deal in feeling like you don’t want to do the work.

Totally get that feeling. When a team is understaffed, the workload piles up and it’s exhausting for anyone that’s not laziness, it’s burnout. Most people actually want to do a good job, but without enough support or coverage, it just becomes overwhelming. Companies really need to see how staffing levels directly affect morale and performance.
