Can anyone tell me about the day to day of a SEC enforcement or trial lawyer and the kind of work you do? I’m interested.

We handle litigated matters, so my day-to-day is very similar to any other lawyer handling civil litigation. That means I’m drafting/reviewing pleadings, doc discovery, depositions, experts, hearings and trial.

The main thing that’s different is sometimes we join the investigation teams who are coming close to making a charging decision to help them get their case prepared for Commission review.

Is there something specific that you want to know about?
