So to everyone staying in the newly rebranded DAT, I'm curious what you think our long-term exit ops will looks like. Under RA it was possible to leverage some work in ICRS or non-audit clients as "consulting work" but we're basically losing that bridge as far as I understand. I’ve been offered a very high paying job with a FAANG. However, based on my experiences with that team, I don’t believe that I will be very happy there and may actually end up being very miserable. I come from a poor background and a family that always prioritized money because we had so little of it in the past. As such, I’m having a really hard time with deciding if I should accept the offer or not.

TLDR; offered really high pay, dislikes the team, worried about being miserable.

I am currently M2 and struggling to find an exit which competes with my current compensation, allows me to stay in my current LCOL city, and provides a comparable compensation roadmap. Part of me says “you will have to take a paycut eventually, leave now and start enjoying a better WLB and expanding your career outside of consulting”, other part of me is “stick it out and make as much as you can while you can”
