Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

Lol EY peeps.. savage! This was quite the orientation 😂
Welcome to EY OP!
Nope can’t negotiate entry level campus hire salary. Lucky you will/are going to be paid pretty well anyways. Ex) expect somewhere around $82,800 Cyber Salary in a MCOL with a $7,500 sign on for a campus hire, little less probably if not in cyber
Not going to happen
What level? Associate? Do you have real world experience? If not, take what you get, work for a year and reassess internally or find better external opportunities. You don’t have a leg to stand on if you don’t have actual experience. Also, consider the fact that mid 80s is already a damn good entry level salary.
Also, 2k between the multiple offers is not serious enough to base your decision on. That’s like $55 net per bi-weekly paycheck in a HCOL region.
Go with who you liked or where you think your career can grow the fastest.
I was a campus hire as well and they told me they would not negotiate salary. I am a tech consultant making around 83k with 7.5k signing bonus
You must consider yourself one bad mamba jamba to negotiate over 2k difference. First job, take the "hit" if you settle on EY. Negotiate your next one, provided you got some years and desired knowledge.
I’m not saying I would negotiate BECAUSE of the $2k difference, I’m asking if I CAN negotiate at all, or in other words if it’s acceptable to negotiate at this level. I’m not saying I’m a young prodigy or anything lol but I do have multiple internships with MAANG companies, if there was a candidate they would negotiate with it would be me. I’m just trying to set me career up for the highest earning potential I possibly can. I get that at this level I’m no different than other campus hires, you all have made that VERY clear 🤣
If you want to be set up for the highest earning potential, work hard and recieved a 5 star review at the end of the year every year for 5 years before leaving. Negotiating based on non-existent added value during an entry level opportunity? Ask and accept any response given I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Are you really suggesting that I should stay at the same company for 5 years to maximize my earning potential?
You can't negotiate base, but I know someone who negotiated 10k signing.
The money doesn't matter right now. You should be able to exit at 150k+ in 2 years.
How did they negotiate 10k signing
