🥴 yes. You can actually even work for multiple firms at once (assuming no non compete etc.) but that’s more applicable outside consulting
Just continue employment with the old company.
Happens all the time, and you actually should stay employed at your current company because things happen. Give your notice 2 weeks before the new start date, and don't say a word until then.
That's exactly how it works. Sign offer letter. Keep working until your start date is sufficiently close, then jump.
