It's a job and a business... and therefore decisions are made that benefit the business.. business needs a particular skillet they promote those.. its the same across offerings.
Sorry to hear you did not get promoted. Hopefully you were given clear direction on what you can do to be successful at the next level. If not maybe post offering and level and we can crowdsource tips from the community.

Started my Roth IRA in 2019 and bought some funds that aren’t doing so well. I want to trade them for an index fund that the majority of my Roth IRA is in.
