Do it now.
I mean from a construction pov ir doesn't make sense doing stuff twice and why can't you just pay cash for what u wanna pay for?
I mean having it all done prior to closing so once we move in its done done. But that means we just added all those features to the house price and paying interest through mortgage. Vs take out those features, lower the overall house price. Then either start updating immediately after closing or move in and then slowly update. But the headache of it all. Feels like things like flooring is so much work.
You probably can’t close with no flooring so you would have to pay for the cheapest builders flooring and then tear that out and put in your new flooring. Our builder allowed us to get an outside flooring company prior to closing. They said that we had to use either their financing or their flooring supplier. Have you asked what options you have.
