No firm is exactly fully fledged and mature in the region bar M&B. The rest are great companies with great people, that in some cases lead the market in particular spaces. The fact of the matter is that consulting places too much weight on brand, which in turn gives people the chance to think that they are an embodiment of that brand (the ain’t…). Pipelines are not mature (AUB, and AUC at almost every consultancy, basically the OG pipelines) and unlike the US or the UK you have very mixed talent standards across the firms. Don’t bother yourself thinking what and which will give you a better exit, cuz the reality is it rarely matters. Smart folks get jobs through connections more so than brand name alone….

Those who care about this BS are either students / applicants aspiring to become a consultant or those at the bottom of the pyramid. If you are happy, making good money you think you deserve, and are fulfilled, why do you even care what random strangers whose opinions don't matter to the business think?

The only really cluster is Big 4 because they’re the global audit firms and distinctively different from the others.
But there are practical differences, no? At least regarding pay bands

Having worked for both Tier 1 and Tier 2, first advise for the region, do not care about tiers! Care about your money and peace of mind
