Last night I told my husband that I was thinking about getting my hair cut shorter - not short, but shorter - and wanted his opinion. He said “it’s your hair so it’s up to you.” While I appreciate his “your body, your choice” stance in theory, in practical terms, I wanted some actual thoughts by the person who sees my face every day on whether I should change my hair. Vent post: Have a mentally ill family member who is not committed to getting the help they need (e.g., through therapy or medication). Been this way for years with no change or end in sight.
