Words don’t describe how bad it is. They’re on their 3rd CEO in 3 years. There is zero culture/soul to the place. They can’t win any real new business, and they’ve had rolling layoffs for a year now. Avoid it at all costs!

CP+BLa is bleak. No more snacks no more perks no more office culture.

Thanks, @droga5. Been gunning to work there since I moved to LA. This clears up a lot for me

Used to work for Linus in the past. So much fun.

@CW1: CP+B LA isn’t doing any better. They’ve lost a good chunk of account. Recently fired their CCO and a few CDs, downsized the office (people wise and squarefeet wise), and are clinging to life.

I don’t work there, but know plenty of people who do/did.

@CPB1: Really? I used to love raiding the LA office’s kitchen when I was editing at Plus.

Made In Boulder is super cool

CD1: Are you there now? If not, how recently did you work there?

@CD1 Wow. Thanks for the candor. Any other shops in Boulder or Denver worth looking into?

What about Linus arrival?

☝️they are super cool but also just had some layoffs

I am about to transition from being a junior partner at a large law firm (my practice has focused on private equity M&A) to Deputy General Counsel at a large-ish Pubco. I am already giving myself a crash course in public securities and corporate governance from my firm’s training materials and my cap markets partners, but I also wanted to poll the audience for other suggestions on how to become as prepared as possible for my new role please. Thanks in advance!

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. Any thoughts or advice going into this?

Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

Which CC is better for sign-up bonus - Citi Premier 80K points or Chase Aer Lingus/Iberia 100K Avios points?

I have a rental property and my tenant is asking me to change the fridge light burb. I live out of state and don’t have property manager locally. Is it bad if I ask them to change the fridge light burb themselves?

I’m pretty responsive for things they need help with like laundry machine got broken or pantry doors fell off. So I had sent people to fix those maintenance and repair issues.

But light burbs? Srlsy? They are grown up people (fresh out of college girls)

Why did Toronto (or Canada?) change the exit signs from the classic red EXIT sign to the green running man? Wouldn’t it confuse more people especially elders in finding the exit?

Also isn’t it a waste of money for businesses to replace perfectly functional exit signs when renovating?
