Considering a move, help! I teach k-12 vocal music at a school where I have/had a vision to improve the culture of singing (very sports focused small school) to build a choir program, which will take several years (2 years done). Been working diligently with my elem. music classes to create a climate where students are comfortable/willing to sing. I'm estimating 3 years to see middle school students buy in, and 5-6 years before my high school program sees any fruit of that labor. Stay? Move on?

I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.

Hello, I have been with the same company for 17 years. I am a supervisor for a laboratory in patient services. I worked my way up and currently have no degrees. I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected.
