I went on vacation 2 weeks ago & ended up with a sinus infection at the ocean. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Had to go to urgent care & lost a day in the sand. I’m sure I caught it on the plane on the way down.

I always get sick the first or second week of the school year. All of the stress of planning a new year takes a toll on my immune system just in time for a few hundred germ ridden students to invade my breathing space lol. It takes a while before my immune system bounces back into action.

Guys I have resigned 2 weeks ago
And yesterday I got an acceptance mail from them and mentioned that they will hold my salary till my exit.
Is it fair for them to do so,?
This was never mentioned anywhere nor written in an offer letter.
Should I talk with higher mgmt.

Mid-career at a Tier 2. Have two offers in front of me, very different trajectories:

McK: Lateral move with tenure, 1 yr from EM, generalist still
A&M: Step up to Manager, PEPI (PE performance improvement)

Which do you choose and why? (And leaving comp out of the equation, if you can - A&M is immediately higher, for now)

I do plan to continue in consulting for say another 3-5 years

My total experience is 6yrs (8mon in Accenture)
My current CTC is very low, 4.77lpa. Got 10% for September cycle.
1) when is the annual appraisal cycle, when we will get the hike letter? Approx hike %
2) will we get additional hike for sub-level change from 12.2 -> 12.1?
