I have a requirement to insert a row in database only if it meets following requirements
Ex: there is a column "points", a new record should be inserted only if points in the new record is greater than highest points already inserted in db or else throw that points are less

How i should approach this if i get lot of requests (say 10k) all a time. How can I achieve consistency and handle with less response time

Guys help out

First take the maximum pointer from db and after comparison make the list of objects of all the data you want to save. So suppose if you have 10000 objects which you need to save so you will have list of list objects containing 10000 objects. Each one object will be single row of the table . Now you can save it.

Hey Guys, post any doubts or topics you want to understand will surely try to respond :)

How to build on DSA and related stuffs. Opportunities after PwC exit is very good but most of them are focusing very much on Data Structures and Algo. Now the thing is common Java related data structures needed for application development are okay and Java frameworks are also fine but the next steps is where I am facing issue(non CS background with 4+ exp). Would welcome suggestions if there are any preparation strategies and materials or suggestions for paid courses also.

Hi Fishes

I'm using data jpa to connect to oracle DB in our API.

We have one scenario when the DB is down, then also normal flow should work.

Although it is working fine, but when we are checking the logs it's taking more than 1 second just to identify that the DB is locked, this is not within our SLA.

In the normal case it's processing within 200 ms.

We're using Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle 19c

Please provide some valuable suggestions from our side

Guys if you want any other topics just comment will try to share the same with you :D

Need Suggestions
I have 9 years of exp in Java dev but I am not good in DSA. I am good enough with springbppt microservices devops cloud core java etc
But many a times companies only focus on DSA for interviews.
Please guide how to start.I saw people are saying to start practicing in leetcode etc
But I am looking for solutions as well.

I got a good offer from a product based company, but the tech they asked I have not much worked on that tech stack(Microservices) but I cleared 3 tech round, will it be an issue if I join and learn while working?

Guys if you have any doubts feel free to reach out to me or send out a post, I'll surely try to clarify your doubts

#Confession

why there is so much to learn for java developer ? Cracking interview is
tough. You need be wellversed with all the things in world database devops java with its n no of versions DSA cloud and list goes on.You are not expected to do a single mistake in interview and after all this struggle you will not be working on greenfield projects.I personally feel its too much to prepare for interviews and many rejections will follow before selection.
Please post your optimistic approach.
