When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
Hi Fishes,
Can anyone please give a genuine insight into the frontend developer interview process for experienced candidates in Apple?
Do everyone irrespective of their experience needs to prepare for DSA? Or they just want the frontend developer to be proficient in HTML, CSS and JS just like they mention in JD. And also do they consider people from Tier 3 colleges?

Everything happens for a reason. Trust the process and Gods path for you.
I’ve had to recommend other roles for people because I know that the senior leaders have an agenda and I never want to put someone in a bad position.
Count yourself blessed.
Love this one. Some roles have bad leadership or are on bad teams.
I kept trying for roles that I wanted. Didn’t get them. Finally got a call about a role I hadn’t thought about, went for it, got it. If it’s for you, it can’t not be for you. Plus I’d rather go through an open door than climb through a partially open window. Lastly, it’s just work and I’m thankful to have what I have. Good luck!
Keep the door open, have the conversation, you never know what it may amount to.
My best jobs were unexpected. My current job was because the recruiter referred me to a different role that surprisingly was a good opportunity. I consider all opportunities and say no after learning more. The last time I took I job that really wanted after instances where I almost didn't (in hindsight shouldn't) get it...it was the worst three years of my career. It took three years to leave that place. And I didn't care about leaving that little pension behind. It was with the most racially toxic place.
I would keep for roles that “speak” to me. It may be the “bait and switch” for this one.
Take a look at the other roles at least. That may be the blessing, despite your excitement for the other.
It's frustrating when you're excited by a role description and don't get it, especially because that excitement can be far and few between. However, as someone pointed out above there are often agendas behind a role. Internal candidates that are already selected, re-organizarions where hiring managers need to refocusand cut headcountposition, roles that don't actually get funded at the last minute, a delay due to lack of buyin around the need for the role... you get the point. Don't forget the environment that you're interviewing in currently, that's a mistake that most people are making currently. A hiring manager with multiple roles open that actually stays in touch is rare right now. You may be interested in the new role once it's posted, it may be the same role supporting a new area. The point is you don't let people play you out of position. Take a beat, handle your emotions and leave things on a positive note. No need to chase them further, but no need to close a door on an interesting opportunity or more money in the future either.
