Hello fishes.
I was reached out by a Microsoft recruiter yesterday. And I told not interested in the position. Now I feel little bad may be i should have given the interview. Can I reach out to the recruiter again ?
PS: it's been only 6months since I joined in the current company
Microsoft
Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

I lied that I was someone else whose interview was scheduled. I was running away from the cops at the time and needed somewhere to go. Truth be told, I didn’t even graduate college or law school, but was hired anyway.

That I care about antitrust—got hired as a senior associate to a highly ranked antitrust group without knowing the basics (I had seen a few cases during my clerkship). I am useless to my group and will likely be asked to leave in my end of year review.
I’ve always inflated my current comp. The new employer can’t verify it - unless they ask for tax documents and I’d never work for an employer who did.
Interviewed for a paralegal job and responded to the “where do you see yourself in 5 years…” question that I was studying for the LSAT. Got the job and then felt I needed to follow through so my fib was less of a fib. Got a decent enough score the first time taking the LSAT, applied to my local law school, passed the bar the first time, and have been an attorney for 10+ years now. I often look back on that moment wondering how different (for better or worse) things could have been.

The number of billable hours I was annualizing
Yup this one; nobody needed to know my group was not not very busy in 2021 when the practice overall was going nuts. Told them my 2020 hours instead. That said, multiple partners from one firm out of the five or six I met with were the only ones to ask point blank. It stood out.
That I love the law and being a lawyer. I must not have been very convincing.

Not me but I’ve heard of people inventing fiancés when the firm is digging for a reason you want their particular geography. And then if it comes up later, sadly you broke up. 🥲
I know a girl from my law school who said she was cum laude when she graduated in the bottom half of the class. I guess her firm never verified it because she’s listed as a cum laude grad on the website.
Apparently they never asked for one. I know lots of firms (Biglaw included) that will totally forget to ask
