But in my new team deployed in a support project. Feeling depressed and frustrated. asked manager 2 times to change my responsibility. But he's accepting in call but not doing what he is promised. Yeah same. I do some gig work whenever I can. Can't afford not to. You shouldn't have anything to worry about. As long as there's no rule at your job prohibiting it, who cares?
I totally get why you feel on edge, but I’d be cautious asking people to openly admit to anything that could get them in trouble. If the side work is important to you, it might be worth exploring ways to make it legit (even gradually) so you’re not stressed about surveillance or consequences all the time.

Totally get that feeling! A lot of people do side gigs off the books, just gotta stay smart about it and keep your eyes open. You’re definitely not alone.
